Hey, you. Yeah, you. That awesome person reading this. Here’s a kitten for you, for being so awesome.

I’ve always loved the stars; the math, the science, the beauty. The three stars up and towards the left are the stars of Orion’s belt: Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka (from left to right). This set of stars is my favorite, and I’m always looking out for it.

What is this??
So this semester, I’ve been busy with schoolwork and projects pretty much every day. This is the first real weekend off in a while and I’m finding myself with more time than I’m used to…. Probably should finish up that interface I’ve been working on….
It truly is surprising how quickly the human mind can switch its entire focus from an English paper on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and Beowulf to watching videos of kittens playing in the grass in slow motion… and then on to changing my tumblr theme and posting something to it for the first time in ages.
And now you can experience this feeling too! Just try our latest product from Union Procrastination Tools, Incorporated: The SleauxCat! Watch the trailer now!
And it only costs 2 minutes and 1 second of your time! (Yeah, right….)
Procrastinated enough.
le sigh
I have had like two years to write these tests for my high school/MAO and of course I have pulled one of the more epic of procrastinations: I’m a quarter done, and only have six days to finish and proofread them. Wish me luck!
On another note: these vacations (one with Kirstin’s family and one with mine) have been pretty good. Kirstin’s family is an odd bunch, to say the least, but they are caring and so much fun. Her grandfather is amazing at Chinese Checkers, Uncle John is very loud and talkative (understatement!), Aunt Helen turns ninety-nine in September, and Uncle Roger is the biggest partier. These people were no doubt very interesting.
Whereas on the other said, here with my dad, his girlfriend and her kids, my half-sister, my brother, and Kirstin, things can get a little crazy (the bad kind). Travis got a new car, after totaling the Dodge Charger and displaying no sort of remorse or any kind of self-responsiblity. René is just as clingy and cranky as is typical for a four-year-old, but it seems that she has taken to liking Kirstin more than myself. Tanner is loud and asks too many questions, and Karlie still likes to make fun of people for the stupidest things. I still despise the smell of cigarette smoke, no matter how much I am around it nowadays.
It’s been good spending this time with you, though, Kirstin. It really has.
Back to Auburn in the morning, where I’ll be taking a nap and trying to finish these tests up. I’ve got ‘til Friday; better get cranking!
PS. It feels good to write out loud again, even if it is just a recollection of days for now.
My roommate playing some piano, I believe it was some band tune we had played the year before.

An unfinished basic 555 timing circuit; just messing around with a couple of my electronics components. This 555 chip was going to be implemented in my CameraAxe, but I never got around to finishing building it. I probably will this summer; it’s a neat little device for photographers. It’ll let you capture high-speed images based off sound or lasers, so that you can get some great “glass-shattering, etc.” pictures.

Just a friend enjoying a cold soda on a night out downtown. Five Guys burgers are simple amazing.
